You will play a key role in the support of our automated robotic assembly lines. As an Inventory Control Specialist in our company, you will work closely with the supply chain and production teams to understand the materials and goods required for each build and maintain the accuracy and timeliness of the inventory flow. 

What you’ll do

  • Oversee and plan every activity that relates to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment
  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored
  • Work directly with management to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow
  • Review balance of inventory and count the items in stock
  • Manage inventory requests and ensure timely material transactions
  • Investigate hitches in the warehouse inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance
  • Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
  • Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
  • Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory
  • Manage deadlines based on project expectations
  • Support Finance activities for month-end reconciliation and year-end audit
  • Maintain inventory accuracy,  cycle count, and physical inventory programs

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree, in addition to two to seven years of direct working experience around manufacturing and warehousing
  • Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a startup environment
  • Ability to relate across departments connected to the warehouse, manufacturing, and field service
  • Proficient with the use of the computer, especially packages relating to inventory, like Excel and others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have's

  • Working knowledge of Fusion Lifecycle, Fishbowl, and Netsuite
  • Technical certifications such as an APICS certification preferred
  • Prior experience as a production planner in the industry preferred
