Katrina earned her Master’s in Robotic Systems Development from the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. Before that, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She developed multi-disciplinary skills from both of them in environments of building robots, cars, or watching cars being built. Her past experience involves building vision and learning systems in industrial automation, designing/developing different subsystems of complex robotic systems and their integration, business development of robotic systems, and so much more. Professionally, she enjoys prototyping and building robots. In her personal free time, her favorite activities include talking about table tennis tables, playing one specific video game, and chasing away squirrels stealing apples and tomatoes from the plants.
